This Cookie Policy explains how GateLLM (gatellm.io) uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you, remember your preferences, and improve our services.

Scope: this policy applies only to the website (www.gatellm.io) and account portal we operate. GateLLM is a self-hosted software product — when you run a GateLLM instance deployed on your own infrastructure, that instance sets no cookies controlled by the Processor; the cookie and local-storage behavior of your instance is entirely determined by your deployment configuration and is outside the scope of this policy.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us remember your visits and preferences.

We use the following types of cookies:

Essential Cookies: These cookies are essential for the basic functionality of the website and cannot be disabled. They support core features such as login, security functions, and shopping carts.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4, cookies): We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website and improve the experience. The GA4 script loads on every page and runs under Google Consent Mode v2 in a denied state by default — no cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are generated, only an anonymized ping is sent. Only after you accept analytics via the consent banner does it set first-party cookies (_ga, _gid, _ga_<container-id>) to process online identifiers (client ID) and device/browser data; IP addresses are collected then discarded by Google, never logged. Data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US DPF (SCCs as fallback), with 2 months retention. On withdrawal we revert to the denied state and delete the associated cookies.

localStorage: We use your browser's localStorage to store your cookie consent choices. This allows us to remember whether you have accepted cookies and avoid repeatedly showing the consent banner.

Supabase Sessions: If you log into your account, Supabase uses essential session cookies to maintain your login status.

Google Analytics 4 analytics (cookies): A cookie-based tool that uses first-party cookies to process online identifiers (client ID) and device/browser data; data transferred to the US (EU-US DPF, SCCs fallback), retention 2 months. The script runs under Google Consent Mode v2 in a denied state by default (no cookies, only an anonymized ping) and upgrades to full measurement and cookies only after you accept analytics.

When you first visit our website, we display a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.

Your choice is stored in localStorage and will not be repeatedly displayed on each visit.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect the website's functionality and your user experience.

Our service uses the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies:

Supabase: For authentication and database services

Stripe: For payment processing

Google: For website analytics (cookies; see Privacy Policy Sub-processors)

Sentry (error monitoring, consent-gated): Loaded only after you accept analytics, used to diagnose frontend errors; may collect error stack traces, browser type, and IP address. See the Sub-processors section of the Privacy Policy.

These third parties have their own privacy policies that explain how they use your data.

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. Because different browsers implement this feature in different ways, we currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

However, you can control your privacy preferences through the cookie consent banner or browser settings.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
